- Process shipment documentation, including BOLs (handwritten as needed), invoices, and international paperwork, while coordinating inbound and outbound transportation, including expedited shipments.
- Coordinate shipping requirements with sales and production planning, conduct daily shipment readiness checks, and prepare shipment placards while supporting timely and accurate material pulls.
- Receive, process, and inspect incoming and outgoing shipments, including UPS/FedEx deliveries, verifying quantities and matching receipts to purchase orders before entering data into SAP.
- Monitor ASNs, follow up on shipments, troubleshoot rejections and discrepancies, adjust shipping orders as needed, and communicate issues with purchasing for resolution.
- Maintain accurate inventory and records by processing receipts, completing required filing, organizing received stock, performing cycle counts, managing secured inventory, and handling returns of incorrect shipments.
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Minimum one-year related experience.
- Arranges inbound & outbound deliveries on time.
- Ensures all parties have correct communication
- Monitor and troubleshoot ASN issues
- Correct printing and placing of shipping labels
- Strong mathematical ability
- Strong organizational and problem-solving ability
- Attention to detail, accuracy of record keeping
- Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft products
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds regularly and 20 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands or fingers to handle, feel, reach, and grasp. The employee is occasionally required to balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
