Senior Design Engineer - Neutral Beams

- Design and develop neutral beam injection systems, including ion sources, beam optics, vacuum system and beam dumps

- Design high-voltage components (100 kV-1 MV class systems)

- Develop thermal management solutions for high-power-density components

- Collaborate with physicists to integrate beam line components in the NB injector

- Prototyping, testing, and commissioning of beamline systems

- 5-10 years professional experience in an engineering role (design, analysis, test or manufacturing)

- Experience with neutral beam injection systems or fusion devices

- Diagnostics (Langmuir probes, spectroscopy, beam diagnostics)

- Bachelor's degree in design/mechanical engineering or related field

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements depending on the position offered (non-Sr., Sr.,).

The compensation range for these roles are $135,000 - $160,000.
