Cloud Upgrades, Senior Engineer

Day-To-Day: While you will report to Cloud Operations Director, your day-to-day project work will be managed by the Cloud Upgrades Project Manager, you will be working on creating deliverables for Upgrade projects related activities.

As a contributor to hands-on execution, design, development, testing, documenting, supporting upgrades of PTC Solution(s) for specific project needs, you will provide feedback to improve PTC products and services including: PTC software functionality performance, implementation methodology and service offerings, and evaluation of education content.

Qualifications: Bachelors in a technical field (IT, CS, Programming, etc.) + 3 years of technical work experience. Fluent in English with excellent written and spoken communication skills Must be a US Citizen and have or be able to obtain a secret government clearance Preferred Skills: Deep knowledge with PTC PLM Windchill Product Suit - Especially around the Technical Upgrade Process Proficiency with Windows and Linux OS Strong motivation to learn new technologies Strong troubleshooting skills Basic networking experience Knowledge of bash scripting Ability to maintain and implement effective application software on multiple technical platforms using one or more families of languages: Java SE, JavaScript, web services (REST, XML, etc.) Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook Knowledge of Active Directory, Single Sign on technologies like Ping Federate and shibboleth Knowledge of Database technologies, Oracle and Postgres Basic Project Management Capabilities Compensation (CIP) PTC carefully considers a wide variety of factors when determining compensation.

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $75,000-86,000. The salary range reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Additionally, candidates may be eligible for a performance-based bonus. Employees also have the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program (ESPP), which allows for the purchase of discounted PTC stock. Certain roles may also be eligible for participation in our equity programs.
