Backend Software Engineer - AI Finance Agent

This role is for engineers who can build reliable APIs, workflows and financial product infrastructure that can scale across markets, partners and millions of users. What You'll Own - Build backend services, APIs and workflows for the AI Neobank app. - Support products across insurance, payments, wallet, savings, investing, travel and financial services. - Design reliable systems for user accounts, transactions, partner integrations, reconciliation, notifications and operations. - Work with product and mobile teams to ship customer-facing journeys quickly. - Integrate with banks, payment gateways, insurers, data providers and other partners. - Improve system reliability, observability, security and performance. - Build systems that are practical, auditable and ready for regulated financial products.

What We're Looking For - 3+ years of backend engineering experience. - Strong fundamentals in APIs, databases, system design and production debugging. - Experience building scalable services and integrating third-party systems. - Good understanding of security, reliability, data quality and operational edge cases. - Able to make practical trade-offs between speed, quality and risk. - Comfortable working with product, mobile, operations and business teams. - Experience in fintech, payments, insurance, lending, banking or regulated products is a strong advantage.

Location This role is remote, but candidates must be based in US . We are hiring specifically for this market, so applicants should already be based in US . Language English is our main working language across global teams.
