Experience: 5+ years
There is a critical shortage of foster and adoptive families in the U.S. The path to becoming licensed - paperwork, home studies, training, references, background checks - has long been slow, opaque, and built around the agency rather than the family. Many prospective caregivers drop out before approval, and overstretched social workers spend their time chasing forms instead of supporting families.
Binti's Caregiver Licensing module is our flagship product. It powers a fully digital, mobile-friendly application experience with e-signatures, document uploads, automated reminders, and configurable forms tailored to each agency. Agencies on Licensing approve 30% more families in their first year, with a 16% reduction in time to approve.
Over 100,000 families have been licensed through it.
Binti PMs drive the strategy and execution of Binti's roadmap. You'll partner closely with Engineering, Sales, and customer-facing teams, alongside an experienced and ambitious group of fellow PMs. We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own Licensing's next chapter - smarter, more configurable, and more tightly integrated with the rest of Binti.
This is a chance to scale and improve a product that already powers nearly half the country's child welfare system. This role reports to our Head of Product.
- Own product strategy and roadmap for the Licensing product.
- Translate the needs of social workers, agency leadership, families, and kinship caregivers into a clear multi-year vision and a sharp quarterly roadmap.
- Drive the metrics that matter: families licensed, time to approval, applicant drop-off, social worker time saved, and equity of approval rates.
- Identify where AI can transform licensing workflows - automated document review, intelligent form pre-fill, draft home study narratives, smart caseload prioritization - and partner with engineering to ship responsibly.
- Prototype rapidly using AI tools (Lovable, Claude, Cursor, v0) to test ideas with users in days, not weeks. We expect PMs to use AI aggressively in their own workflow.
- Spend real time shadowing social workers, supervisors, and families going through the process - deep user understanding is non-negotiable here.
- Push configurability and scale. Licensing has to flex to every state and county we serve while staying coherent and minimizing technical and operational overhead.
- 5+ years of product management experience , preferably at a high-growth B2B or enterprise SaaS company. Experience with regulated, government-facing, or complex workflow software is a plus.
- A track record of scaling products meaningfully - taking something from "good and growing" to category-defining.
- AI-native in how you work and what you build. You already use Claude, Cursor, Lovable, or v0 daily, and have informed opinions on where LLMs and agentic patterns belong (and don't) in high-stakes workflows.
- Deep experience with user research and turning those insights into actionable updates.
- Comfort wearing many hats - flexing into UX, design, prompt engineering, and project management as needed.
- Sharp judgment on tradeoffs: north star vs. MVP, quantitative vs. qualitative, customer-specific vs. platform, configurability vs. simplicity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with a range of audiences, from executives and agency leadership to social workers and caregiver families.
- Passion for building and working with diverse teams, as well as Binti's mission and values.
