DevOps / Systems Engineer (Top Secret Clearance Required)

North Point Technology is looking to hire a DevOps / Systems Engineer to work on our Cloud Automation Advancements Team. The qualified candidate must have an active TS security clearance, and will work hand in hand with technical and program management leadership to implement the next generation desktop and web based production and dissemination system.

This role involves standing up and maintaining Windows Servers in cloud environments, along with the deployment and maintenance of custom code, COTS, and GOTS to those environments. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast moving cloud automation environment and enjoys building reliable, innovative systems in support of the mission.

- Experience with cloud computing and Amazon Web Services (AWS)

- Experience administering Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop operating systems

- System design and architecture across hardware, software, and networking

- Working knowledge of custom code development and code reviews

- Strong understanding of DevSecOps methodologies and workflows

- Experience with GitLab functionality, error codes, and scripting

- Experience using AWS services and technologies (e.g., CloudFormation, S3, ECS, EKS)

- Experience with AWS serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, load balancing, autoscaling)

- Experience troubleshooting, configuring, and deploying Docker containers

- Experience writing, maintaining, and documenting architecture diagrams

- Experience with team collaboration tools and administration (Jira, Confluence, RocketChat)

- Active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI post hire
