Manager, Risk and Disputes

The Manager, Risk, Disputes at 8am serves a key role in ensuring our Dispute Defense team is consistently achieving positive results for our clients and keeping our company's exposure to chargeback risk and fraud low.

- Manages and monitors the Dispute Defense team in order to uphold our excellent client service.

- Performs collections when our customer loses a chargeback case.

- Ensure all chargeback responses are submitted within industry timeframes.

- Helps the team monitor chargeback ratios and manage chargeback reduction plans.

- Collaborative work with our processing partners on vision and process alignment.

- Focus on evolving processes and eliminating manual workflows.

- "Can-do" attitude that is always willing to go above and beyond their everyday tasks.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Office Suite of tools (Gmail, Drive, Sheets, Docs).

- Strong background and understanding of the chargeback process and industry regulations.

Additional Information The annual salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000. The salary range for performing this role outside of the US / Austin / California may differ. 8am is committed to offering competitive, fair and commensurate compensation and has provided an estimated pay range for this role.
