The Resident Care Director (RCD) serves as the clinical leader for the community, overseeing health, wellness and care coordination to ensure safe, high-quality, resident-centered services.
This role drives clinical excellence, regulatory compliance and team performance while supporting Sunrise’s mission and care standards. What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage the nursing team and all care programs
- Conduct resident assessments and oversee Individualized Service Plans (ISP)
- Monitor changes in condition and coordinate with physicians and clinical partners
- Oversee medication management and infection control programs
- Serve as CLIA and Infection Control leader as applicable
- Drive Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial and nursing regulations
- Recruit, hire, train and performance manage clinical team members
- Manage staffing, scheduling and department budget
