Software Developer - Java/Python Job Locations US Requisition ID 2026-167118 Position Category Information Technology Clearance Public Trust Responsibilities We are looking to add a Senior Java/Python Developer to our team of talented professionals. The Senior Java/Python Developer will work closely with Product Owner/Data Coaches/Analysts/DBA and Scrum/Kanban teams.

In this role, you will: Develop, test and maintain a complex distributed processing application utilizing python and Java. The developer will work closely with Product Owner/Data Coaches/Analysts/DBA and Scrum/Kanban teams Ensure alignment with program standards, backend-frontend requirements. Agile delivery expectations.

Work independently and effectively with little to no supervision.

Qualifications Required

Qualifications: 8 years with BS/BA; 6 years with MS/MA; 3 years with PhD Ability to work independently and effectively with little to no supervision. Strong Python development with JAVA experience or Strong JAVA Development with python experience Experience with distributed workloads via Spark/Hadoop/Other Must have SQL skills; Snowflake experience AWS experience Strong shell scripting Must be a team player Excellent executive function and communication skills US Citizen or Green Card - must have been in US 3 of the last 5 years Must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred

Qualifications: Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience; certification preferred. CLI Linux experience Visual Studio (VS code) or other IDE experience Job scheduling / process automation experience Rules-based model experience Experience working with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) information systems. Target Salary Range $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
