The Global Platform Business Strategy and Operations Sr Advisor, acts as a force multiplier for the leader of Global Platform Business (GPB)—a strategic operator who drives execution, alignment, and organizational health, ensuring the “engine” of the platform business runs smoothly while leadership focuses on the broader GTM strategy.

This position reports directly to the Senior VP, Global Platform Operations to translate organizational priorities into actionable plans, drive high-impact cross-functional initiatives, and ensure the commercial success of the Ingram Micro Xvantage™ platform.

  • Shield executive time ensuring only the most critical platform and GTM issues surface
  • Track and report progress of key GTM initiatives across the GPB to ensure they aren’t stalling
  • Monitor health and adoption of the Xvantage Vendor GTM model; track KPIs and identify “red flags” before they impact the bottom line
  • Track progress, dependencies, risks, and deadlines for all critical initiatives and cross-functional strategic projects
  • Maintain a central action-item tracker for the Senior Leadership Team and executive commitments
  • Drive accountability across functions, proactively identifying bottlenecks and escalating issues
  • Act as connective tissue between the GPB, regional sales, platform teams, Finance, Sales, and Marketing
  • Plan, prepare, and facilitate senior leadership meetings; develop agendas, briefing materials, and key discussion points
  • Capture and track key decisions, action items, and follow-ups, ensuring seamless and efficient execution
  • Synthesize complex platform data into executive presentations, executive decks, and internal communications articulating the vision of the GPG and GPB
  • Capture the executive “voice” for internal town halls or vendor-facing presentations
  • Lead projects—market opportunity assessments, vendor adoption analysis—requiring high-level discretion and rapid execution
  • Keep a pulse on organizational culture and identify potential gaps as the organization scales
  • Build and institutionalize frameworks, processes, and best practices for long-term execution excellence
  • 8–12+ years in management consulting, business operations, or high-growth tech
  • Bachelor’s degree. MBA preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • “Influence without authority” capabilities in a matrixed global organization
  • Strategic thinker with a bias for action and operational rigor
  • Highly collaborative; builds credibility across all organizational levels
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity while delivering clarity and structure
