Full job description

The Senior Product Manager for Inventory Integrations is a key member of the Nordstrom Product Management team, which will spearhead initiatives for our Inventory ERP systems. In this role, you’ll lead the charge in delivering value through strategic product development, cross-functional collaboration, and a customer-centric approach.

Product Management is responsible for making sure we build the right products and features for our customers and business. To accomplish that, product managers plan the product roadmap and prioritize the applicable technology backlog, lead product discovery, and measure and communicate results of the feature portfolio in production, all while driving stakeholder alignment.

  • Drive Innovation: Foster creativity across functions and domains, encouraging experimentation and forward-thinking solutions.
  • Plan Strategically: Orchestrate comprehensive product planning sessions, driving alignment across dependencies and domains.
  • Evangelize Your Vision: Advocate for your product, influencing strategic roadmap decisions both within your domain and across organizational levels.
  • Collaborate Seamlessly: Partner with business and technology teams to deliver impactful product solutions while providing responsive support.
  • Leverage Customer Insights: Conduct research, synthesize findings, and develop a deep understanding of opportunities, incorporating market trends and competitor analysis into product roadmaps.
  • Embrace AI & Automation: Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to inventory integration workflows — including building and scaling AI agents, anomaly detection in data flows, predictive data quality validation, and intelligent exception routing.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in product management, technology, or eCommerce (retail systems integration experience preferred).
  • Technical & Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of ERP system design, data architecture, and stock ledger management within retail operations, including the transition from on-premises to modern, cloud-based SaaS solutions. Experience with system integrations, data flows, data transformation, and validation requirements supporting inventory management, financial reconciliation, and operational efficiency is highly valued.
  • Strategic Vision & Ambiguity: Ability to set a compelling product vision and multi-year roadmap, and to thrive in ambiguity where requirements, ownership, and scope are still forming
  • Execution: Proven ability to lead discoveries and delivery across multiple engineering teams in parallel, drive to an aligned MVP, and manage a prioritized backlog
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to define, measure, and analyze processes to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to build cross-functional relationships and drive alignment across engineering, finance, and inventory ops — up to executive leadership
