Responsibilities
- Technical Design & Architecture: Develop and document detailed technical designs for integrating our Fintech solutions with client systems, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. Collaborate with architects and engineers to define optimal solutions.
- API Integration: Develop and maintain robust API integrations, leveraging RESTful APIs, webhooks, and other relevant technologies. Handle complex data transformations and mappings.
- SDK Development & Maintenance: Develop, maintain, and support client-side SDKs (Software Development Kits) to simplify integration processes.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Design and execute comprehensive test plans to validate integration functionality, security, and performance. Identify and resolve integration defects.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including API specifications, integration guides, SDK documentation, and troubleshooting guides.
- Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to integrations, providing timely and effective solutions to Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative measures.
- Technology Evaluation: Stay abreast of the latest technologies and trends within the Fintech space, evaluating new tools and technologies for potential integration into our solutions.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, sales, and customer support, to ensure successful integration projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a software engineering or integration role, with a strong preference for experience within the Fintech industry.
- Deep understanding of API design principles (RESTful APIs, GraphQL), data structures, and algorithms.
- Proficiency in at least one server-side programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js, Javascript,Go).
- Experience with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is crucial.
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices and security protocols relevant to the Fintech space (e.g., OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect).
- Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies. Experience with automated testing is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with specific payment processing technologies or relevant Fintech
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Azure Developer Associate).
