Security Officer Building Access Control

What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing and distribution location. Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, issuing badges or passes as directed, and communicating entry requirements.

Monitor access points, gates, and assigned areas for unauthorized activity, and report security-related concerns according to site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when directed. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum

Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
