Job Description Systems Engineer The Systems Engineer will help define and drive systems engineering activities and deliverables across Hospital Patient Monitoring (HPM) solutions and systems with focus on complex distributed software solutions. You'll work with a cross-functional team to deliver world leading, cutting-edge Patient Monitoring solutions.

Your role: Collaborate with stakeholders providing technical and functional expertise across all levels of the requirements hierarchy, including system-of-systems, to ensure consistency and alignment. Collaborate with Development, Test, Clinical Engineering, and Risk Management teams to provide functional clarifications ensuring a shared understanding of system functionality.

Modeling and analysis of complex Systems to define system level requirements. Drive SW FMEA for medical device software and solutions that include multiple products. Support complex integration efforts of software solutions, both on-prem and cloud, medical devices and IT infrastructure.

You're the right fit if: You've acquired 3+ years of experience in systems architecture/systems engineering ideally of medical devices, SW development (including enterprise level SW). Cloud computing, virtualization, networking, security (e.g., CISSP, CISA) and experience in systems modelling and model-based systems engineering, as well as experience with patient monitoring systems is a plus.

Your skills include: deep understanding of the V-model, with emphasis on the left side, strong background in software systems and IT/Network Engineering, eliciting both functional and non-functional requirements, Software FMEA. Model Based Systems Engineering, SysML and modeling tools is a plus, medical device standards and regulatory requirements (e.g.

IEC 62304), nice to have. You have a Bachelor's degree, required, Masters degree preferred in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, or relevant equivalent technical experience. You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

You also possess strong analytical skills, proven ability to understand dependencies within a complex system & decompose into smaller tasks & plans; strong communication skills and experience in creating alignment between broad varieties of stakeholders (internal and external). For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
