Security Officer Driving Security Patrol

What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to post guidelines.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, assist with crowd and traffic flow during events and busy periods, and report maintenance, access, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum

Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Security experience of 6 or more months is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
