The Senior Process Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing solid dose manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation in a GMP-regulated facility. Provides technical leadership, drives reliability improvements, and supports strategic projects.

Your responsibilities
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and modification of GMP equipment, control systems, and power systems; interpret work orders, blueprints, drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions while exercising sound technical judgment.
  • Lead and support preventive and predictive maintenance programs using CMMS/SAP PM, including vibration analysis and thermography, while accurately documenting maintenance activities and supporting maintenance KPIs.
  • Provide technical expertise for equipment upgrades, modifications, capital projects, and reliability initiatives in partnership with engineers, managers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, OSHA, and site safety requirements; lead risk assessments, LOTO procedures, confined space protocols, and represent maintenance during audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Drive continuous improvement by leading root cause analyses (RCA), implementing corrective actions, reducing downtime, and improving equipment reliability and operational performance.
  • Train, mentor, and develop technicians at all levels, providing technical guidance and leadership during complex maintenance activities.
  • This role is not currently sponsoring visas or considering international movement at this time.

    The experience we're looking for

  • Experience supporting predictive maintenance technologies, reliability-centered maintenance programs, and reliability engineering practices to improve equipment performance and uptime.
  • Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting OSD manufacturing equipment, including compression, granulation, and packaging systems, within solid oral dose or liquid pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
  • Experience leading or supporting audits, regulatory inspections, capital projects, and cross-functional initiatives, serving as a maintenance representative and technical resource.
  • Experience using SAP, CMMS, and reliability analysis tools to manage maintenance activities, while operating effectively in fast-paced environments with multiple priorities and complex maintenance documentation requirements.
