Security Officer Hospital Patrol Driver

What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, patient care areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as needed, and report unusual activity or security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site-specific procedures. Minimum

Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

A guard card/license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
