  • Apply a strong quality focus: checking, design verification, documentation accuracy, and consistent adherence to standards.
  • Propose practical approaches to new problems using modifications of standard methods and previous project learnings.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines and stakeholders to resolve interfaces (utilities/services coordination, site constraints, staging and buildability).
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers, supporting capability uplift and good engineering habits. What we’re looking for
  • 5–10 years’ post-graduate experience in civil/site infrastructure design roles.
  • Working knowledge of Austroads and an ability to interpret and apply local council/authority requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in stormwater (pit and pipe) and bulk earthworks design; water/wastewater and services coordination experience is highly regarded.
  • Exposure to WSUD design or integration is a plus.
  • Department of Defence project experience is highly desirable (Defence environments, approvals, standards and stakeholder expectations).
  • Strong attention to detail, structured working style, and commitment to producing consistent, compliant deliverables.
  • Proven willingness to mentor and support junior staff. Why you’ll love working with us
  • Flexible work arrangements, including alternative start/finish times, job-sharing and hybrid work options
  • Purchase up to 6 weeks additional annual leave per year
  • Swap public holidays – swap Easter or other holidays for ones that suit you better
  • Continuous learning and growth - lunch and learns, professional development courses, financial study assistance, 5 days paid study leave, global career opportunities Ready to push the limits of what’s possible?
