As part of our enterprise AI strategy to accelerate PDM and Tech Ops process and deliver therapies to patients faster, we are seeking a Director, IT Data/AI Product Owner
In this leadership role, you will define and drive a portfolio-level product vision and roadmap for AI-enabled PDM and Tech Ops capabilities spanning Technical Development, Product and Process Development and Quality Areas
You will serve as the IT Data & AI Center of Excellence (COE) lead for PDM and Tech Ops AI product/s, acting as the primary interface between PDM and Tech Ops stakeholders and IT, and shaping how AI is applied to improve knowledge management, Quality processes and decision-making for Technical Development, PD, and Quality.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Data & AI, who will oversee a portfolio of AI-enabled products, lead product owners within the PDM and Tech Ops and other domains, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions at scale.
As the IT product owner, you will own the product vision, roadmap and stakeholder engagement for AI-enabled reporting, planning and analytics use cases while understanding the technical architecture required to deliver solutions.
This position is based in Foster City, CA (hybrid‑eligible).
The salary range for this position is: $226,185.00 - $292,710.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary.
This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
