We're seeking an enthusiastic, collaborative designer with an exceptional eye for color, a strong grasp of cultural and sport trends, and the ability to lead concepts through execution with clarity and originality.
- Develop seasonal color narratives rooted in brand direction, athlete insights, culture, and trend research.
- Build cohesive color palettes that amplify product intent and clearly communicate story, mood, and performance goals.
- Translate high-level strategy into actionable color application across footwear lines.
- Apply color to footwear models with a balance of creativity, technical accuracy, and brand alignment.
- Own color CADs, material callouts, and final color tech packs with precision and consistency.
- Ensure designs meet functional requirements for performance-driven products, including durability, visibility, and material behavior.
- Partner closely with Footwear Design, Product Line Management, Color Materials, Engineering, and Development teams to drive alignment from concept through production.
- Present color concepts and strategies clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Maintain strong vendor and material partner communication to ensure color accuracy and feasibility.
- Stay connected to sport culture, fashion, art, and global color trends, translating insights into innovative solutions.
- Monitor competitor landscape and emerging palettes to help position the brand at the forefront of the industry.
- Manage timelines and deliverables across multiple projects with strong organizational skills.
- Champion color integrity through all phases of development, including sample reviews, lab dips, and production rounds.
- Leverage digital tools, libraries, and color management systems to maintain standards and efficiency.
- Attention to detail and experience multitasking and working under tight deadlines. - Passion every day to follow and acknowledge applicable trends. - Strong taste level when it comes to image selection, editing and presentations. - Strong presentation skills and comfortable working with a group. - Must be detail oriented, able to prioritize tasks and to successfully meet multiple deadlines - BA, BFA or BS in Color, Apparel, Graphic or Fashion Design preferred - 8+ years of experience preferred - Advanced user of Adobe Creative Suite
- Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore, MD (Global HQ) office.
- Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office per week.

$115,000.00-$150,000.00 USD
Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
