- Support daily/weekly team meetings by participating in ways to help the team improve
- Oversee daily shift backlogs. Maintain continual oversight to RFI backlogs and incoming backlogs to ensure compliance to metric targets
- Function as focal point for area group production coordinators and priorities
- Participate in adding to the area's to-do lists for improvement projects
- Mentor employees to meet supervisor expectations for the job
- Receive, store, and issue raw material, parts, details and hardware as required to support shop operations
- Store parts and materials in bins, drawers, and racks; identify part and stored location
- Perform picking function to make up necessary kits of parts, material and hardware as required; ascertain that all parts are available and accounted for in kit
- Maintain strict material handling practices in accordance with procedures
- Monitor shelf-life storage, and maintain proper rotation of stock
- Maintain accurate temperature requirements for all required temperature sensitive materials
- Interface with other fulfillment centers, other sites, Shipping, Receiving, Planning, Quality Control, Purchasing, and other related departments to resolve problems relative to receipt and distribution of material
- Maintain good housekeeping and organization of areas for efficiency
- Capability to operate a forklift and other related inventory equipment
- Experience within the aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic fields
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience and understanding of inventory and kitting processes
- Detail oriented, organized, and demonstrates a high sense of urgency
- Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position
- Willingness to work (Monday-Friday) 3pm-1:30am, overtime, and weekends
Pay Range: Level 1: $22.00 - $24.50 + $2.00/hour lead differential Level 2: $24.50 - $27.00 + $2.00/hour lead differential Level 3: $26.00 - $31.50 + $2.00/hour lead differential
