This hybrid position offers the flexibility to work three days per week in the office and two days remotely . Relocation assistance is not available.

About this role: The Of fice of Plan ning and Budget is seeking a collaborative and analytical financial professional to join its Financial Planning & Analytics team.

Whether hired at the Data Analyst, Financial Planning & Analytics / Senior Data Analyst, Financial Planning & Analytics level , you'll contribute to projects and initiatives that influence strategic and operational decisions across one of the nation's largest public universities.

Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning & Analytics, you'll develop sophisticated financial models, perform detailed analyses, and partner with stakeholders across the university to support resource planning, budgeting, and long-term financial sustainability.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working collaboratively, and translating data into meaningful recommendations that help shape institutional strategy.

Your Contribution Will Likely Include Build and maintain financial models that support university planning, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.

Analyze complex financial data and develop recommendations that inform executive decision-making. Partner with colleagues across the Office of Planning and Budget and university departments to identify financial opportunities and address institutional challenges.

Support resource planning, allocation, and financial management initiatives that align with university priorities. Present financial analyses and insights to a variety of stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.

Contribute to cross-functional projects that improve financial planning processes and organizational effectiveness. Continuously evaluate data, trends, and business needs to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Experience You Will Bring Bachelor's degree in Finance , Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience performing financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or financial planning. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to develop and interpret complex financial models.

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to diverse audiences.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships across a large, complex organization.
