What this job involves – The Critical Facility HVAC Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of HVAC systems in a critical facility environment, such as a data center. This role involves performing preventive and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, as well as studying building automation and fire/life safety systems to ensure their proper functionality.
The engineer conducts facility inspections, identifies conditions that may impact operations, and adheres to strict safety procedures to maintain a secure and compliant environment. Additionally, the engineer utilizes CMMS systems to document work performed and ensure accurate records are maintained for all HVAC-related activities.
