Staff Pharmacist Manager - Express Scripts - Whitestown, IN

The Staff Pharmacist Manager is accountable for second-shift manual dispensing operations within a high-volume, automated home delivery pharmacy environment. This role achieves business results through people, providing oversight and leadership to licensed pharmacists and pharmacy technicians while ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient pharmacy operations.

- Accountable for second-shift pharmacy performance, safety, quality, and compliance

- Owns daily production results, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of operational metrics

- Holds self and team members accountable for meeting performance expectations and regulatory standards

- Lead, coach, and develop a team of licensed pharmacists and pharmacy technicians

- Execute performance management processes, including goal setting, coaching, feedback, and corrective action

- Support onboarding, ongoing training, and development to build capability, engagement, and bench strength

- Create a respectful, inclusive, and high-performance culture aligned to Cigna values

- Ensure pharmacy operations support safe, accurate, and timely medication dispensing

- Make operational decisions with patient safety and service quality as top priorities

- Reinforce quality standards and a "right-the-first-time" mindset across the team

- Respond quickly to changing priorities, workload fluctuations, and operational challenges

- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)

- Active and in good standing Indiana Pharmacist License or willingness to obtain Indiana licensure within six (6) months of hire

- Prior experience leading, supervising, or influencing teams

- Ability to work second shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM), Monday through Friday
