Quality Engineer - Portsmouth, NH

- Quality Management System; responsible for developing and implementing quality management systems and procedures to ensure compliance with ISO standards and other regulatory requirements.

- Collaborate with product development teams to integrate quality control into product designs and development processes.

- Manage the Customer Complaint and Corrective Action processes, working to improve overall effectiveness.

- Conduct 8D root cause analysis to identify and resolve quality issues effectively.

- Work in a growing database environment and optimize the performance of our existing Power BI product database systems.

- Analyze data from quality testing, production metrics and customer returns to identify trends and areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions to reduce waste and increase efficiency.

- Work with the Manufacturing Engineering team to ensure optimal performance and output of meter calibration panels.

- Lead process improvement projects, alone or as part of a multifunctional team, to drive sustainable corrective actions and improve customer satisfaction.

- Work closely with HUS and Aclara stakeholders such as Supplier Quality, Sourcing, Manufacturing and Engineering to eliminate roadblocks and communication barriers that may affect process performance.

- Support and assist QA Tech with production inspections and other duties as needed to ensure outgoing product quality.

- Assume additional duties and responsibilities as required and assigned.

- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field or other Technical Discipline.

- Strong Quality related experience in a manufacturing environment.

- Demonstrated ability to analyze problems, interpret data, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions.

- Background in applicable quality and lean tools/techniques such as: FMEA, RCA, 8D, Poke Yoke, Kaizen.

- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, schematics and specifications.

- Experience in leading internal, customer and external audits. Certification is advantageous.

- Knowledge of and experience in the use of SAP and Microsoft Power BI is very desirable

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong presentation skills.

- Ability to manage priorities while maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy.
