Local CDL Driver - 1st Shift

About the role As a CDL Driver, you'll not only drive our equipment, but you'll also drive our success! You'll play a key role in ensuring safe, on-time delivery of goods for our customers, running local routes that get you home daily . What you'll do on a typical day - Drive a 53-foot tractor trailer in and around the site or on public roads - Touch freight position - Drive safely and adhere to all safety policies and practices - Perform routine inspections - Communicate effectively with dispatch What you'll need to succeed at GXO At a minimum you'll need: - 6 months of Commercial Driver's License (CDL) experience operating the same type of equipment needed for this position, or larger, in the last 3 years - Must be at least 23 years old - A current valid CDL A driver's license and an acceptable MVR over the past 3 years It'd be great if you also have: - High school diploma or equivalent - Experience moving multiple types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds) GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
