No Location : Name Laurel Heights Hospital Opportunity Details Position Title: BC Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist Location: Atlanta, GA Laurel Heights Hospital provides residential treatment programs for children and adolescents (ages 7 and up) who present with severe and complex psychiatric and behavioral difficulties that impact multiple areas of functioning.

Adolescent patients reside in separate treatment units designated by age, gender, and treatment needs. This ensures that programming will meet our residents’ specific developmental needs and individualized treatment issues. Through our Discovery and Declaration Programs, Laurel Heights Hospital provides highly specialized residential treatment for boys ages 7–17 who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, and who demonstrate severe behavioral difficulties and psychiatric illnesses.

Overview: Employment Type: Hospital Employed, on-site only Schedule / Hours: PT day shift, shared call Patient Volume: 30-32 Adolescent RTC patients per week Location: Atlanta, GA Practice Setting: Residential Treatment (adolescent male and adolescent female units) Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary with BH Techs, BH RN, Psychiatric NPs, Social Workers and Therapists EMR / Technology: HCS Growth & Development: Leadership and advancement opportunities within ever-growing organization.

Responsibilities Your role will encompass admission evaluations and assessments, managing treatment teams, overseeing discharge processes, and performing related administrative tasks. Collaborate with physicians, NPs, and support staff. Document care using HCS.
