TITLE: Manager, Field Applications Scientists

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

DUTIES: Spend 20% of the time “in the field” with FAS TRAVEL: Up to 40% domestic and international travel required. Telecommuting Employee: Reports to company headquarters in Waltham, MA. Can work remotely or telecommute.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Biology, Molecular and Cell Biology, or related field of study plus 5 years of laboratory experience in cell therapy, gene therapy, cell biology, immunology, stem cell biology, molecular biology techniques, or related experience. Employer will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Biology, Molecular and Cell Biology, or related field of study plus 3 years of laboratory experience in cell therapy, gene therapy, cell biology, immunology, stem cell biology, molecular biology techniques, or related experience as an equivalent alternative.

Required knowledge or experience with:

Marketplace/Scientific knowledge in Cell Therapy, Research, and Clinical and Diagnostic settings;

Integrating internal and field-based activities across functions to support customer requirements;

Leadership and management experience;

Laboratory, selling, and customer contact experience;

Providing application support and training to customers and internal staff; and

Pre- and post-sales activities.

Compensation and Benefits The salary pay range estimated for this position Manager, Application Scientists based in Massachusetts is $167,627.00–$170,500.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
