Full job description

Are you energized by solving complex, high‑impact data challenges in regulated environments? As a Senior Business Analytics Advisor, you will design and deliver scalable, secure, and production‑ready data solutions that support critical business, legal, and regulatory needs across Market Analytics. Operating with high autonomy and deep technical judgment, you will serve as a trusted bridge between analytics, legal partners, and enterprise technology— bringing clarity, rigor, and innovation to complex data delivery.

  • Design and deliver enterprise‑scale, cloud‑native data pipelines and curated datasets that support complex business, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Engineer secure, auditable, and defensible data extracts to support high‑risk legal, litigation, and compliance use cases.
  • Build and maintain scalable ELT and ETL workflows across enterprise and cloud analytics platforms to support batch and large‑scale processing.
  • Partner closely with Legal, Market Analytics, Enterprise Technology, and Data Engineering teams to translate complex data requests into reliable technical solutions.
  • Establish and champion best practices in data engineering, including automation, testing, monitoring, documentation, and governance.
  • Ensure appropriate data security, lineage, retention, and chain‑of‑custody controls for sensitive legal and regulatory datasets.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex data engineering, platform, and risk‑related challenges.
  • Contribute to enterprise data modernization initiatives, including migration from legacy platforms to cloud‑based analytics environments.
  • Lead through influence by setting standards, improving processes, and enabling repeatable, production‑ready data frameworks.
  • Provide informal mentorship and technical guidance to analysts and partner teams as needed.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or advanced analytics roles.
  • Extensive experience designing and delivering enterprise‑scale data solutions.
  • Strong hands‑on expertise with Teradata, Python, SQL coding, Databricks, and cloud‑based analytics platforms.
  • Proven experience building secure, auditable data pipelines supporting legal, regulatory, or compliance requirements.
  • Deep understanding of data governance, data quality, lineage, and documentation practices.
  • Ability to operate independently on complex, ambiguous, and high‑risk initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across technical and non‑technical teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience modernizing legacy analytics or reporting platforms.
  • Familiarity with enterprise cloud architecture and data security standards.
