Summer Lifeguard

The Athletic and Fitness Center is seeking a responsible individual with current lifeguard, first aid, and CPR/AED certification who possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills as well as some experience with lifeguarding. Dress code/uniform will be required for this position. CPR/AED and Lifeguard Certification must be valid and other duties assigned by the supervisor for this position.

Applicants must posses a valid American Red Cross Lifeguard AND CPR certification.

Applicants should posses precise communication skills to manage the pool.

Pool water testing in accordance with the Health Department.

Assisting swimmer(s) with the proper use and teaching on equipment.

Completing other duties as assigned by the supervisor for this position.

Student staff must participate in online and in person training sessions provided by the Career Development Office. The position is in-person and hours vary per week depending on availability in relation to the building hours. Nights and weekends are required.

You will be asked to meet in person at least once per semester. There is a dress code/uniform that will be required for this position.
