Experience: 10+ years
We are seeking a Principal Software Developer to lead the technical evolution of TEG Manager®, our centralized hemostasis management platform that delivers real-time TEG® 6s and TEG® 5000 analyzer data to clinicians across operating rooms, ICUs, and emergency departments. In this role, you will serve as a technical anchor for a cross-functional engineering team, driving architectural decisions and setting engineering standards for a mission-critical, regulated medical software system.
As a principal-level contributor, you will own the end-to-end architecture strategy for the TEG Manager platform — spanning device connectivity, data ingestion pipelines, and REST API design that integrates with hospital information systems and downstream clinical workflows. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product and regulatory stakeholders to navigate regulatory software requirements, and champion engineering practices that balance velocity with the rigorous regulatory standards demanded in patient care environments.
If you are energized by the challenge of building distributed, event-driven systems where uptime and data integrity are genuinely life-critical, this is a rare opportunity to shape both the technology and the team at Haemonetics.
The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account, without limitation, the candidate’s location, education, job-knowledge, skills, and experience in prior relevant roles. Incentives may also be provided as part of Haemonetics’ employee compensation. For sales roles, employees will be eligible for sales incentive (i.e., commission) under the applicable plan terms.
For non-sales roles, employees will be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, the target amount of which varies based on the applicable role, to be governed by the applicable plan terms. Employees may also be eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive plan, with eligibility and target amount dependent on the role.
