We’re looking for a licensed Electrical Engineer (PE) who is ready to take ownership of projects, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to meaningful, technically challenging work in a highly collaborative, in-office environment alongside a team of experienced engineers and designers. Why This Role in Norfolk Stands Out Opportunity to work on mission-critical projects, including federal and infrastructure-related programs Strong presence in the Hampton Roads market, with continued growth and investment Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary, nationally respected firm Clear opportunities to lead projects and mentor junior staff What You’ll Do Serve as a key contributor within our Buildings team, combining technical expertise, project ownership, and collaboration Design and deliver electrical systems for complex building projects Prepare project specifications, reports, and full construction document packages Conduct design analyses, planning studies, and cost evaluations Interpret data and apply engineering principles to develop practical, innovative solutions Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers in a multi-disciplinary environment Perform quality control reviews to ensure technical accuracy and project excellence Participate in field observations and construction phase services Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers Lead or support discipline teams or small multi-disciplinary teams What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (or equivalent experience) Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local codes and regulations Experience with construction document production and engineering design software Proven ability to solve complex problems with innovative, practical solutions Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients, contractors, and team members Experience working on building systems and site-related projects Note: Due to federal contract requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $83,000 - $145,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, internal equity, geographic location, and other job-related factors. An Equal Opportunity Employer.
