- Partner with engineering and leadership teams to define role requirements and create compelling job descriptions.
- Source, screen, and manage candidates across multiple channels, including LinkedIn, technical forums, and industry events.
- Drive the full recruitment lifecycle - from outreach and interviews to offer negotiation and onboarding coordination.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for high-priority and hard-to-fill technical roles.
- Implement scalable recruiting processes and tools to enhance hiring efficiency and candidate experience.
- Serve as a strategic advisor on talent market trends, compensation benchmarking, and candidate engagement best practices.
- Represent Mach Industries as a brand ambassador at recruiting events, conferences, and university partnerships.
- 3+ years of experience in technical recruiting, business operations, or sales, ideally within deep tech or hard tech verticals OR Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of experience in recruiting, business operations, or sales
- Demonstrated success sourcing and closing technical candidates in competitive markets.
- Strong understanding of engineering roles and organizational structures.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment.
- Experience recruiting in startup or high-growth environments.
- Familiarity with Department of Defense contracting or cleared hiring processes.
- Proficiency with recruiting platforms such as Ashby and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Passion for emerging defense technology and innovation in national security.
- Proven ability to build and scale recruitment processes from the ground up.
