  • Drive software releases through rigorous testing and validation activities from unit level to E2E system level to ensure KPIs are met with clear exit criteria. Ensure best practices are met from a quality perspective to enable frequent deployments at scale (CI/CD, stability, additional automations, etc)
  • Facilitate effective ways of working among various cross-functional teams not just within software, but partner teams such as Data Science, Systems Engineering, Product Management, Customer Experience, Deployment Operations, Embedded Systems, and Hardware teams
  • Support key customer relationships and expectations management in collaboration with Customer Experience and Product
  • Present regular status updates to executive stakeholders and cross-functional leaders
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in software/infra program management
  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, data scientist, or related field
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing the complete software product development cycle
  • Proficient with project management tools including Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, and methodologies including Agile (SAFe), Waterfall, Scrum, etc.
  • Experience with test plan development and execution for various levels of SW validation
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate technical and organizational challenges in a start-up environment while setting up for long term success as we scale
  • Ability to work on-site or hybrid in Seattle, WA (preferred) or Sunnyvale, CA
  • Familiarity with retailer supply chain and inventory management
  • Familiarity with edge compute, shadow controllers, network architectures
  • Familiarity with ring based deployments, feature flags, blue/green deployments, and health probes
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements (SOC 1, SOC 2, pen testing)

  • Familiarity with observability platforms and dashboards (New Relic, Grafana, Looker)
  • Familiarity with firmware development and hardware/software integration
  • Familiarity with writing PRDs and requirements tracking software
  • Familiarization with ways of working and tooling used, including Jira, Confluence, JPD, BigPicture, Smartsheet, etc.
  • Familiarization with release workflows, teams, ceremonies, and reporting best practices.
  • Understand in detail the current state of SW infrastructure
  • Contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and overall Scrum/SAFe model including task and bug management
  • Start driving execution and delivery of engineering initiatives and reporting out
  • Gatekeep for the Definition of Ready, Definition of Done, and the SW release strategy for your program(s)
  • Ask more questions, align teams, ask why, challenge assumptions
  • Drive resolution of critical issues by collaborating with DRIs and XFN teams
  • Contribute to the SW roadmap strategy and program increment planning
