Role And Responsibilities
- Work as a member of a software development team as a full stack developer focusing on web browser based UI/UX.
- Will occasionally need to support development of server-side components.
- Follow an Agile Scrum and Sprint based development process and demonstrate periodic testable features.
- Integrate automated testing into products developed.
- Work with distributed development teams for development and testing.
- Work with QA, DevOps and Product Support teams to ensure quality, deployment and support of the product.
Required Skills/Experience
- BS degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related area
- Relevant industry experience (6+ years)
- Experienced UI developer with passion for creating intuitive and pleasing user interfaces
- Experience developing scalable front-end user interfaces using AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and JQuery.
- Experience developing server side components in Java, Spring and Hibernate
- Experience in developing Restful APIs
- Experience with maven, eclipse, git, Jira and Confluence.
- Experience in web servers like Apache, Tomcat.
- Knowledge of application containers like Docker.
- Unix/Linux OS experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills/Experience
- Master’s Degree (CS or equivalent)
- Experience using test automation tools such as Selenium or Grunt
