Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS Microservices)

We are looking for top-notch talent as we continue to build the best global analytics consulting team in the world.</p><p>We are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer with strong AWS expertise to design, build, and support cloud-native applications and microservices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing primarily in Python (Java acceptable), building and supporting microservices in AWS, and collaborating across full-stack environments including Angular and Node.js applications</p><p></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></li><li><strong>Cloud Architecture &amp; Engineering</strong></li><ul><li> Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices in AWS (majority C1 microservices environment). </li><li> Build and deploy cloud-native applications using Python (Java acceptable). </li><li> Implement secure, highly available, and fault-tolerant solutions in AWS. </li><li> Support containerized deployments and CI/CD pipelines. </li></ul><li><strong>Application Development</strong></li><ul><li> Develop backend services using Python or Java. </li><li> Work with Node.js for API development and service integrations. </li><li> Collaborate with frontend teams working in Angular to ensure seamless integration. </li><li> Build and manage RESTful APIs. </li></ul><li><strong>Microservices &amp; DevOps</strong></li><ul><li> Develop and maintain microservices architecture. </li><li> Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices. </li><li> Implement logging, monitoring, and performance optimization strategies. </li><li> Automate infrastructure and deployments using DevOps tools. </li></ul><li><strong>Collaboration &amp; Support</strong></li><li> Partner with cross-functional teams including DevOps, UI developers, QA, and Product. </li><li> Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis. </li><li> Continuously improve cloud reliability, scalability, and cost optimization.<br></li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><ul><li>Strong programming experience in <strong>Python</strong> (Java acceptable). </li><li> Hands-on experience with <strong>AWS cloud services</strong>. </li><li> Experience building and supporting <strong>microservices architecture</strong>. </li><li> Experience with <strong>Node.js</strong> for backend/API development. </li><li> Exposure to <strong>Angular</strong> frontend framework. </li><li> Strong understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems. </li><li> Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.</li></ul></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>Significant career development opportunities exist as the company grows.
