Mechanical Engineer

<p>The <strong>Mechanical Engineer</strong> assists in the planning, conceptualization, and creation of mechanical designs for new and existing Percussionaire products.&nbsp; This position will ensure projects have a successful design and execution through collaborating with all aspects of engineering. This position is based in our Sandpoint, ID facility.</p><p></p><p><strong>Essential Duties and

Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborates with cross-functional teams, both onsite and remote, to support project execution and ensure alignment across stakeholders</li><li>Participates in IQ/OQ/PQ activities, including drafting qualification plans for internal use or vendor testing</li><li>Produces specifications for products and assists in selecting raw materials and components to be used in productions and builds models/prototypes of the product and tests the design</li><li>Uses computer-assisted design (CAD) software to create preliminary and detailed drawings of the product</li><li>Works with vendors to establish purchasing and manufacturing requirements and collection of specifications</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications/Education:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering preferred or equivalent work experience required</li><li>5-7 years of experience working as a Mechanical Engineer required; medical device industry experience preferred</li><li>Working knowledge of medical device standards and regulations or an ability to develop a working knowledge of standards and regulations required</li><li>Proficient in adhering to Quality Management System (QMS) protocols and experienced in utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems</li><li>Experience writing qualification protocols and mold validations is a plus</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Meaningful work in a rapidly growing company with opportunity for advancement</li><li>Directly influence the quality of products and make a difference for patients worldwide</li><li>Opportunities for professional and personal growth</li><li><a href="https://www.youtube.com/shorts/m8Wcv9otOtI" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external">Click here to view more!</a></li></ul><p></p><p>Sentec offers competitive benefits like Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, FSA, and 401K matching, as well as paid parental leave, a wellness stipend and tuition reimbursement.
