Lifeguard/Swim Instructor

<p>East Bank Club is seeking experienced and enthusiastic Lifeguard/Swim Instructors to join our team. As a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for weekly lifeguarding shifts and instructing swimming lessons for learn to swim skill levels.

You will be tasked with ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants while teaching proper swim techniques and water safety.</p><p><strong>Currently seeking a lifeguard for weekday and weekend availability.</strong> Typical shifts times are near 8a-2p or 2p-8p. <br><br><strong>Pay Rate:</strong><br>Lifeguard Hourly Rate: $20.00<br><br>Swim Instructor: 100% commission.

Commission structure: 40% of service revenue. Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Greet and assist members utilizing the pool area</li><li>Observe assigned pool and surrounding area</li><li>Enforce all posted pool guidelines</li><li>Enforce Children’s Rules and age restrictions</li><li>Assist Aerobics and Swim Instructors in setting up or facilitating classes including taking attendance</li><li>Relay any member relations problems to management</li></ul><ul><li>Develop and implement swim lesson plans</li><li>Provide individual and group instruction to participants of all ages and skill levels</li><li>Assess participant abilities and adjust instruction as needed</li><li>Ensure a safe and positive learning environment</li><li>Enforce safety rules and guidelines</li><li>Communicate effectively with participants and their parents/guardians</li><li>Maintain accurate records of participant progress</li><li>Attend required meetings and training sessions</li><li>Assist with swim team or special aquatic events, as needed</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li><strong>Must be authorized to work in the USA.

We use E-Verify.</strong></li><li>Previous lifeguarding and swim instruction experience preferred.</li><li>American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification or equivalent preferred.</li><li>American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification required (Shallow Water or deeper)</li></ul><p></p><p><em><strong>This is a year-round position (not seasonal).

If hired, your start date shall not surpass 3 weeks from the initial offer. Weekday and weekend availability is required.
