Overview:</strong><br>We are seeking an experienced <strong>Psychiatric Medical Director/Principal Investigator (PI)</strong> to lead our inpatient psychiatric program and oversee clinical trials at our West Palm Beach (Boynton Beach) facility. This full-time leadership position is available to start <strong>ASAP</strong> and requires a physician with demonstrated expertise in psychiatry, inpatient care, and research.</p><p><strong>
Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide medical leadership and oversight for the inpatient psychiatric unit, ensuring delivery of high-quality, evidence-based patient care.</li><li>Serve as <strong>Principal Investigator</strong> for clinical trials, maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and institutional research regulations.</li><li>Supervise and mentor psychiatric staff, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinical teams.</li><li>Collaborate with clinical research coordinators, sponsors, and CROs to ensure integrity, safety, and effectiveness of clinical trial protocols.</li><li>Conduct patient evaluations, admissions, treatment planning, and ongoing management in the inpatient setting.</li><li>Review and approve study-related documentation, adverse event reporting, and regulatory submissions.</li><li>Foster a collaborative environment between clinical care and research initiatives.</li><li>Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality initiatives to optimize patient outcomes.</li><li>Represent the program at internal and external meetings, conferences, and community outreach events.</li></ul><p><strong>
Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>MD or DO degree with Board Certification/Eligibility in Psychiatry.</li><li>Active or eligible <strong>Florida medical license</strong>.</li><li>Prior experience as a <strong>Medical Director</strong> and/or <strong>Principal Investigator</strong> in clinical trials required.</li><li>Strong background in <strong>inpatient psychiatry</strong>, including acute care and crisis stabilization.</li><li>Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.</li><li>Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA, and IRB guidelines.</li><li>Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation &
