Journeyman Electrician

Job Summary Loenbro is looking for Journeyman Electricians in the Nashville, TN area. This is a project position for candidates who have a passion for safety, a initiative-taker, and who have experience in a heavy commercial and industrial environment. The Journeyman Electrician will work independently or as part of a team which will be responsible for the installation, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning, and servicing of industrial equipment and systems.

- Capable of reading and understanding overview drawings, one-line drawings, and electrical schematics.

- Ability to layout conduit, cable tray, and overall jobsite installations.

- Serve existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems.

- Minimum Journeyman Skill level experience in commercial or industrial electrical system

- Must be dependable, work hard and willing to put in the hours needed.

- Must be willing to submit to pre-employment screening, including criminal background check and drug screen.

- Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

- Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights)

- Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time monthly for required tasks

- If driving is required, a valid driver's license and proof of insurability is required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search.
