<p>We are looking for a senior designer &amp; project manager to support our client, a luxury beauty brand. The senior designer and project manager is a senior-level, dual-expertise role working with the store design team,&nbsp;uniquely positioned at the intersection of&nbsp;design&nbsp;execution&nbsp;and rigorous projects&nbsp;management.

Working with leaders of the store design function, you will bring&nbsp;8 to 10&nbsp;years of experience,&nbsp;driving end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-stream&nbsp;creative and&nbsp;design programs in fast-paced, high-stakes&nbsp;environments.&nbsp;</p><p>This role is built for a rare profile: a design-fluent&nbsp;team member,&nbsp;who can simultaneously shape creative output and command full operational control over scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.&nbsp;&nbsp;It operates in a hybrid capacity with 3 days per week onsite at our client in mid-town Manhattan.</p><p>You will&nbsp;collaborate with&nbsp;and align cross-functional teams,&nbsp;including designers, brand managers, vendors,&nbsp;retailers&nbsp;and senior stakeholders,&nbsp;across simultaneous initiatives, acting as the connective tissue between creative vision and execution reality.

Your design sensibility is central to how you communicate with design leads, evaluate creative&nbsp;and solution driven&nbsp;output, and ensure that brand intent is preserved throughout every phase of delivery.&nbsp;</p><p>Beyond day-to-day project&nbsp;management, you will bring a proven&nbsp;track record&nbsp;of&nbsp;optimizing&nbsp;workflows, orchestrating brand rollouts, and managing vendor ecosystems, while fostering a collaborative environment that consistently drives exceptional&nbsp;design outcomes.&nbsp;</p><p>

Responsibilities: </p><ul><li>Own end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-stream store design projects across multiple brands, managing scope, timelines, milestones, and quality from brief to completion&nbsp;</li><li>Translate strategic business&nbsp;objectives&nbsp;into structured, actionable project roadmaps;&nbsp;anticipate&nbsp;risks and drive proactive mitigation&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain a&nbsp;consolidated, always-current view of the design portfolio&nbsp;for specific brands to be shared with various leaders and stakeholders</li><li>Lead cross-functional alignment across design teams, brand managers, vendors, and senior stakeholders across simultaneous large-scale initiatives&nbsp;and be a point of contact for cross-functional partners including brand teams, finance, vendors, and&nbsp;retailers&nbsp;</li><li>Support the creation and delivery of high-impact presentation materials, program recaps, and executive status updates&nbsp;</li><li>Apply deep design&nbsp;expertise,&nbsp;including retail design principles, brand rollout&nbsp;methodology, and&nbsp;prototyping&nbsp;,&nbsp;to evaluate and guide creative output across programs&nbsp;</li><li>Partner with design leads to ensure creative intent is preserved throughout every project lifecycle, from concept through in-store execution&nbsp;</li><li>Bridge the gap between design ambition and operational feasibility, ensuring detail-oriented creative output&nbsp;remains&nbsp;aligned with strategic goals&nbsp;</li><li>Leverage&nbsp;proficiency&nbsp;in Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and AutoCAD to engage meaningfully with design deliverables and vendor documentation&nbsp;</li><li>Oversee vendor relationships across the&nbsp;different projects&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree&nbsp;required; Architecture, Interior Design, or a related creative field strongly preferred&nbsp;</li><li>8 to 10&nbsp;years of experience in&nbsp;design&nbsp;and&nbsp;project management, with a focus on complex, multi-stream design programs in fast-paced environments&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrated design&nbsp;expertise: strong command of retail design principles, brand rollout, and prototyping; ability to evaluate and guide creative output&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Proven&nbsp;track record&nbsp;managing large-scale design programs for high-profile clients; experience in the Beauty or Luxury industry a strong plus&nbsp;</li><li>Strong ability&nbsp;to&nbsp;partner with&nbsp;and align cross-functional teams across simultaneous initiatives&nbsp;and projects&nbsp;</li><li>Proficiency&nbsp;in Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and AutoCAD; strong&nbsp;knowledge&nbsp;of Microsoft Office&nbsp;</li><li>Very strong&nbsp;communication and interpersonal skills&nbsp;</li><li>Highly organized, solutions-oriented, and adaptable, with&nbsp;demonstrated&nbsp;ability to manage competing priorities and adjust to pressing timelines in dynamic environments&nbsp;</li><li>Experience in a US retail or luxury brand environment strongly preferred&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>The anticipated salary range for this role is $105,000 - $120,000 annually.

Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget.
