Responsibilities:</p><ul> <li>Conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and Phase II Investigations following ASTM Standards</li> <li>Multi-media sampling (soil, soil vapor, groundwater, indoor air, methane, surface water, sediment, etc.)</li> <li>Lithological logging and boring log preparation</li> <li>Report writing and preparation of supporting documentation</li> <li>Preparation of Vapor Intrusion Mitigation System Conceptual and Detailed designs under the supervision of a California Registered Professional Engineer.</li> <li>Potential for long field days and work at job sites throughout Northern California may be required with this position</li> <li>Proposal and budget preparation and management</li> <li>Project management of small to mid-scale projects and provide support on larger projects</li> <li>A mixture of office and field work is expected, with an emphasis on office work</li> <li>Communicate project status, schedules and compliance issues with clients, third parties, and regulatory agencies</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p></p><ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology or related field required</li> <li>Minimum of 4 years of related environmental experience required</li> <li>Microsoft Office and computer programs (AutoCAD, Surfer, and/or ArcGIS preferred), field equipment experience preferred</li> <li>40 Hour HAZWOPER training preferred</li> <li>Professional certification (PE/PG) preferred</li> <li>Knowledge on remediation systems and vapor intrusion mitigation systems preferred</li> <li>Valid driver's license with driving record in good standing required</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p></p><ul> <li>Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance</li> <li>401K including employer match</li> <li>Annual Bonus Program</li> <li>100% employer- funded Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) </li> <li>Paid holidays and PTO</li> </ul>
