<p>Electrician and Plumber - Trainee and Assistant</p><p>Start the next phase of your construction career with Essel today!</p><p>We are looking to add hard-working and reliable Electricians and Plumbers to our team.</p><p>You will participate in a variety of construction projects throughout the Bay Area, from Oakland to San Jose</p><p>**Many of our best performers earn opportunities to work on bigger projects with more pay!**</p><ul><li>Ideal opportunity for a mid-level Trainee or Apprentice looking to gain additional experience working as part of a team</li></ul><p><strong>Plumber Tech:</strong></p><p>Duties/Responsibilities</p><ul> <li>Perform plumbing duties in connection with a wide variety of building alterations, maintenance and repair projects.</li> <li>Install, alter, replace, and repair plumbing projects as required such as water, sewage, and drainage systems.</li> <li>Cut, bend, assemble, and install various pipes, fittings, and fixtures for water, sanitary, drainage, heating, gas, and other plumbing systems which involve the performance of hand, bench, and maintenance plumbing tasks.</li> <li>Install, alter, repair, or replace all plumbing fixtures.</li> <li>Thread, ream, assemble, caulk, solder, and weld various pipes and component parts.</li> <li>Install, alter, and repair valves, fittings, and other plumbing parts and equipment, including such items as hot water boilers, sterilizers, steam tables, sinks, thermal control apparatus, sprinkler heads, hydrants, and service pipes.</li> <li>Repair and install new water/drainage lines and waste/sewage pipes.</li> <li>Check plumbing fixtures for leaks and other defects, opening and cleaning clogged drains, pipes, and traps.</li> <li>Advise on selecting, ordering, and storing plumbing supplies and equipment.</li> </ul><p><strong>Electrical Tech:</strong></p><p>Duties/

Responsibilities:</p><ul> <li>Installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings.</li> <li>Installs conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables.</li> <li>Ensures piping complies with electrical codes.</li> <li>Trouble shutting for diagnose repairs.</li> <li>Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them.</li> <li>Connects electrical systems to powerlines to provide electricity to the building.</li> <li>Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.</li> <li>Inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed.</li> <li>Replaces conduit and wiring as needed.</li> <li>Replaces circuit breakers as needed.</li> <li>Performs other related duties as assigned.</li> <li>Verify compliance and functionality of installations</li> <li>Maintain workflow schedule to ensure productivity objectives are met</li> <li>Coordinate with other trades on site</li> <li>Responsible for keeping and maintaining a clean workspace</li> <li>Ensure that safety is paramount on all job sites Required Skills/Abilities:</li> <li>Ability to read blueprints.</li> <li>Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.</li> <li>Ability to use hand tools and power tools.</li> <li>Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.</li> <li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>Reliable form of transportations </p>
