Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment in residential and commercial properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
- Perform upgrades, renovations, and new installations as required
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Identify electrical problems and recommend effective solutions
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent
- Adhere to workplace safety standards and company policies
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades as needed
Requirements
- 3–10 years of proven experience as an Electrician
- Strong experience in both residential and commercial electrical systems
- In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
- Proficiency in using electrical tools, testing equipment, and hand tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Valid electrician license or certification (as per local requirements)
