General Manager of Quality Control- Automobile

<p><strong>MAJOR FUNCTION: </strong></p><p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Maintains quality management system in compliance with ISO/TS 16949 requirements and customer specification</p><p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Monitors standards of the organization or quality process</p><p>3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Manages current process improvement and new process development</p><p>4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Develops plans for annual internal and external QMS audit plans</p><p>5.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Trains internal auditors, department specialists/team members</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: </strong></p><p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Conducts and completes internal audits based on annual internal audit schedule</p><p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Manages 2nd and 3rd party quality system audits</p><p>3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Supervises the department team members</p><p>4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Manages financial information</p><p>5.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Leads quality innovation activities (setting up goal/periodic monitoring, etc.)</p><p>6.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Develops quality strategy planning</p><p>7.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Controls failure cost (internal failure cost/field claims/customer downtime cost, etc.)</p><p>8.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Forecasts field quality issue trends</p><p>9.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Develops annual business plan, management review, financial reports</p><p>10.&nbsp; Review and approve department documents</p><p>11.&nbsp; Monitors and resolves internal and external customer concerns </p><p>12. &nbsp;Develops corrective action plan for customer claims,&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </p><p>13.&nbsp; Performs other duties as assigned</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES</strong>: </p><p>&nbsp;1. &nbsp;Performs other duties as assigned</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering field and 15 years related field experience required </p><p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Fifteen years of process improvement experience required</p><p>3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ISO/TS 16949 Internal Auditor certification required</p><p>4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; SPC, MSA, FMEA, Control Plan, fixture planning experiences required</p><p>5.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Proficiency in Window Excel, Power Point, Word, CAD required</p><p>6.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; An individual must demonstrate strong supervisory, interpersonal, communication skills</p><p>7.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Capability to perform multi-tasks</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Personal Characteristics: </strong></p><p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities. </p><p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Superior interpersonal abilities.
