Full job description

At Pinterest, AI isn't just a feature, it's a powerful partner that augments our creativity and amplifies our impact, and we're looking for candidates who are excited to be a part of that. To get a complete picture of your experience and abilities, we'll explore your foundational skills and how you collaborate with AI.

Through our interview process, what matters most is that you can always explain your approach, showing us not just what you know, but how you think. You can about our AI interview philosophy and how we use AI in our recruiting process here.

As a Product Manager for Trust & Safety Tools, you'll own the product strategy for the internal tools that power trust & safety at Pinterest — the systems that reviewers, ML engineers, risk analysts, and policy teams use every day to keep the platform safe. You'll drive the transformation of these tools toward an AI-first future, reimagining what internal tooling looks like when AI is a core participant in every workflow.

Partnering closely with Operations, ML Engineering, Risk Intelligence, Policy, and Data Science, you'll shape tools that serve an expanding community of T&S practitioners across the company.

  • Own and drive the T&S Tools product roadmap, including review queue systems (PinQueue), entity inspection and management (Lookup), bulk operations, and domain management tools
  • Define and ship AI-native tool capabilities — MCP integrations, AI-assisted workflows, intelligent routing, model testing interfaces, and new experiences that fundamentally change how practitioners interact with T&S systems
  • Partner deeply with T&S practitioners — ops reviewers, ML engineers, risk analysts, policy teams — to understand workflows, identify friction, and deliver improvements that compound over time
  • Manage the internal customer experience across a diverse user base with different needs and technical depth
  • Triage inbound requests from cross-functional stakeholders, communicate priorities, and maintain roadmap focus
  • Experience building products for internal users, operations teams, or enterprise customers
  • Strong user empathy — genuinely curious about how people work and motivated by making their workflows better
  • SQL proficiency — able to self-serve data investigation and analysis
  • Excellent stakeholder management — proven ability to juggle competing priorities from multiple teams
  • Growth mindset with enthusiasm for AI — excited to learn and develop conviction about how AI transforms internal tooling
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Background in ops efficiency measurement (AHT, throughput, cost metrics)
  • We recognize that the ideal environment for work is situational and may differ across departments. What this looks like day-to-day can vary based on the needs of each organization or role.
  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times/quarter and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.
