Python Developer

Requirements: Competencies Bachelor's degree in related area Advanced skills associated with software design, modification, implementation and deployment, including object-oriented programming concepts. Demonstrated ability to interface with management on a regular basis. Demonstrated ability to create software specifications.

Thorough experience with identification and use of code libraries and open-source forums. Demonstrated software repository skills. Demonstrated testing and test planning skills.

Proven database expertise in formulating efficient schemas.

Qualifications: Strong hands on experience with Python, Java, API, Linux Demonstrated ability to develop conversion and system implementation plans. Some familiarity of current bioinformatics tools, compression algorithms, and data types . Experience with distributed, highly scalable databases, such as HBase or Cassandra, as well as an in-depth knowledge of traditional SQL database concepts.

Experience with cloud computing services such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Programming experience with Scala or Clojure prefers.
