Team: Marketing Operations Reports To: Director of Marketing Operations

We are seeking a Project Manager, Creative Services, to lead and support our multidisciplinary creative teams. In this role, you will oversee the planning, prioritization, and delivery of artistic assets, while supporting the Head of Creative. You’ll play a pivotal role in optimizing creative workflows, aligning resources with priorities, and fostering a collaborative environment where artists, designers, and producers can thrive.

At this time the role reports to the Director of Marketing Operations but that may change in the future.

As the central coordinator for creative requests and projects, you’ll ensure smooth communication across departments, balance workloads, and remove roadblocks so the team can stay focused and inspired. By combining hands-on project management with people leadership, you will empower our creatives to do their best work, crafting emotionally impactful experiences that connect players around the world.

- Coordinate the intake, prioritization, and scheduling of creative asset requests across teams (Marketing, Community, Art, etc.).

- Manage timelines, deliverables, and expectations for both in-game and external creative content.

- Facilitate reviews, approvals, and feedback loops between stakeholders and creative leads.

- Act as the bridge between creative, production, marketing, publishing, and external partners.

- Collaborate with leadership to align creative output with overall studio goals and project roadmaps.

- Ensure timely delivery of assets to support game updates, social campaigns, community events, and product launches.

- Support and produce the annual Sky Creator Award Show in partnership with the community and creative team

- Develop and refine creative processes, pipelines, and tools to support a flexible and iterative creative environment.

- Help maintain documentation, brief templates, style guides, and asset management systems.

- Drive improvements in creative workflows, removing blockers and increasing visibility for all stakeholders.

- Track resourcing needs and help balance workload across internal creatives and external collaborators (freelancers, vendors, agencies).

- Facilitate onboarding and coordination of external creative partners where needed.

- Protect creative team bandwidth by streamlining communications and minimizing unnecessary disruptions.

- 4–6+ years experience in creative operations, project/production management, or related roles—preferably within games, animation, interactive media, or entertainment.

- Deep understanding of creative workflows across disciplines like concept art, design, narrative, and marketing.

- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Notion, Jira, Airtable, Trello) and creative software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Figma).

- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and excellent at multitasking across projects with different timelines.

- Empathetic communicator who can support and advocate for creative teams while managing expectations across the studio.

- Passion for emotionally resonant games and thatgamecompany’s mission of creating positive, human-centered experiences.

- Experience working with international teams and remote creative collaborators.

- Background in asset management or digital content libraries.

- Familiarity with live service or ongoing game development pipelines.

The salary range for this position is $71,000 USD to $124,000 USD annually, with the opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus.
