Te Deseo is currently seeking top talent to join our growing team. We spent months traveling to Latin America, perfecting our wood-fire cooking techniques, creating our own signature blend of reposado tequila, and even learning how to salsa dance. Te Deseo manifested as our love letter to the liveliness, mystery, and community that blooms throughout the region.
Te Deseo is one of our largest concepts at 14,000 square feet with two levels, four bars, and seven unique dining rooms.
- Engage guests with a pleasant greeting and take drink orders in accordance with HH bar service standards.
- Responsible for providing quality guest service while preparing and serving tableside beverages.
- Responsible for presentation set up and delivery to each table.
- Ability to pour drinks and mix well balanced cocktails and shots at tableside.
- Responsible for handling cash and credit card transactions at the Point-of-Sale System.
- Provides each customer with an itemized bill and secure payment prior to any product delivery.
- Initiates and engages in conversation with all guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Efficient in promoting and upselling products.
- Acts as an ambassador of the venue, markets the venue and all products offered to the targeted customer base.
- Collects customer information for the venue database, while constantly striving to increase the size of their personal clientele.
- Ability to build customer relationships for reoccurring clientele.
- Reports directly to the Nightlife Manager.
- Communicate with management and the service team to rectify any customer needs, comments or incidents.
- Exhibits and executes knowledge of the venues sequence of service and selling technique.
- Ensures that assigned area, side station, tables and POS stations are clean and well stocked.
- Ensures that all open and closing duties are completed and checked out by management.
- Adheres to all established policies, procedures and uniform guidelines.
- Familiar with the Nightlife menu to provide recommendations to all VIP customers.
- Must be able to lift and carry 20lbs in a busy, crowded and dimly lit environment.
- Ability to notice intoxicated guests and notify management.
- Must be able to stand or walk a minimum of 8-hour shifts.
- Must be 21 years of age and older.
- Must obtain a valid TABC Certification and Food Handlers.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a high volume, service focused job.
- Previous Cocktail Server experience in a high-volume job environment preferred.
- Must be able to work weekends, nights and Holidays.
- Must be self-motivated, constantly striving to improve skills and knowledge with a willingness to learn.
- Must be fluent in the English language, both written and verbal, bilingual skills is a plus.
- Must have strong knowledge of spirits, wines, and champagne/prosecco.
- Work effectively with team members.
