- Pack and unpacks items for storage. Ensures supplies are easy to locate and access when needed.
- Examines and inspects stock items for wear or defects. Reports damage in a timely manner.
- Receives items, performs count to ensure accuracy of stock records, and records data.
- Verifies inventory computations by comparing to physical counts of stock. Investigates discrepancies or adjusts errors.
- Issues or distributes items in a timely manner, including products, parts, supplies, etc.
- Completes housekeeping tasks ensuring areas are clean and organized, including cleaning and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas.
- Ensures compliance with all safety regulations.
- Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.
- Operates a forklift to move stock and unload freight from delivery trucks.
- Assists with other administrative or manual duties to support operations.
Minimum Qualifications (Educations & Experience)

- Working knowledge of AS400 and inventory management systems
- SAP experience
- Knowledge of InnovaZone scanning processes or Electronic Inventory Systems
- Bilingual
- Experience in inventory systems or other technical role in a high-throughput, quality-sensitive business environment
- Experience in poultry/meat food manufacturing Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and occasionally lift up to 30-50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Working Conditions & Travel Requirements
- Work will be performed in a variety of conditions including a climate-controlled office environment(s) and in a manufacturing plant environment with varying conditions, such as cold areas, wet areas, warm areas, chemicals, and other site conditions. This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment while in the manufacturing environment.
- The noise level of the office environment is usually moderate; the noise level in the manufacturing environment may exceed 85 DBA and require hearing protection.
